In conjunction with the National Tobacco Control Conference (NTCC) and Lung Health Summit 2026, the National Cancer Society of Malaysia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Malaysian Council for Tobacco Control, University of Cyberjaya, and strategic partners, reaffirmed its commitment to advancing tobacco control and improving respiratory health through a comprehensive, whole-of-society approach.
Held under the theme, “A Mind Without Addiction, a Lung Without Contamination,” the conference served as a key national platform bringing together public health professionals, educators, policymakers, civil society leaders, researchers, and advocates to strengthen efforts in reducing tobacco use and addressing lung health challenges in Malaysia.
Over three days, the conference highlighted key discussions on public education, awareness campaigns, fiscal policy, and innovations in tobacco control and lung health. The programme also provided a platform for civil society organisations (CSOs), healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, academic institutions, and local authorities to exchange insights, share impactful initiatives, and strengthen collaborative, forward-looking strategies towards a healthier, tobacco-free Malaysia.
Our highest appreciation and sincere thanks to the Ministry of Health Malaysia and all strategic partners for their continued commitment and collaboration in advancing tobacco control and respiratory health initiatives in Malaysia.
