The National Cancer Society of Malaysia in collaboration with Sunway University, officially launched the second National Cancer Congress Malaysia (NCCM 2025) from 20 to 22 June 2025 at the Sunway University. The event was officiated by YB Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, Minister of Health Malaysia.

Carrying the theme “Bridging Gaps, Building Hope, Empowering Lives,” NCCM 2025 addressed regional challenges in cancer care through diverse sessions focused on research, screening, diagnosis, personalised medicine, treatment, and survivorship.

This year’s congress introduced three new summits — the Cancer Financing Summit, Patient Advocacy Summit, Women’s Cancer Summit, and Nuclear Medicine Summit.

NCCM 2025 attracted more than 1,000 participants, including delegates from across the region, Europe, and the Middle East, reaffirming its role as a vital platform for multidisciplinary collaboration in cancer care.
