Dr Tan Yah Yuen MBBS (Singapore), FRCS (Edin), FRCS (Glas), FRCSEd (Gen), FAMS, GDipHML obtained her medical degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1995, and pursued surgical training after completion of her internship, and received post-graduate diplomas from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Royal College of Surgeons in 1999. She underwent advanced surgical training at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and received further accreditation in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003.
