Senior Consultant | General Surgeon, Crest Surgical Practice, Singapore Dr Kim Guowei, MBBS, MRCS(Edinburgh), MMed(Surg), FRCS(Edinburgh), MCI, FAMS graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2007 and surgical residency in 2016, before spending a year in Korea in 2019, mastering laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Prior to leaving for private practice, he served as a senior consultant at the National University Hospital and was the Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program. He still is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NUS and is the President Elect of the Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society of Singapore (OMSSS), a Board Member for the Robotic Surgery Society of Singapore (RS3) and the Past-National Coordinator for The Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons Society (TUGSS). His special interests include upper gastrointestinal (including esophageal and gastric cancer), metabolic/bariatric, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
